Cyanotype Prints set

PSWS-CYAN

Cyanotype Greeting Cards

This set contains 4 or 8 cards featuring art work by Marie Metcalf of Berks County, Pennsylvania

Dating back to 1872, Cyanotypes are one of the oldest photographic printing processes. The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which when exposed to UV light and washed in water, oxidizes to create prints with distinctive, cyan blue tones. These four cyanotype prints were photographed and produced in Pennsylvania by a Master Watershed Steward. Blue Marsh Lake and Hopewell Lake set the background for this water inspired set.
