Our new Positive Word candles feature upcycled wine bottle containers, sustainable hemp wicks, and 100% soy wax.

Lovingly crafted using the best ingredients, our candles are hand-poured in Georgia using American-grown, all-natural soy wax and 100% organic fragrance oil to create beautifully scented, long-burning candles.

What does "hand-poured" mean?
It means that they make candles the old-fashioned way. The manufacturetakes their time and care with their own two hands. Everything is done by hand - from the wicking to the pouring of your 100% soy wax candle. This means the top may not be 100% smooth (see pictures) but that is okay since you are burning. 

Why Hemp Wicks?
This candle has a hemp wick because hemp is more sustainable than cotton and burns hotter to improve the fragrance throw.

How to Maximize Burn?

• Always trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. We recommend using a wick trimmer for candles in narrow containers, like our bottles.
• Allow top of candle to pool entirely with each burn.
• If the flame gets too tall it may cause cracks in the glass. Keep your wick trim.
• Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time. To maximize burn time, we recommend burning in 2-3 hour increments.
• Wick dippers are handy to extinguish the flame without any smoke and re-center the wick after each burn.
  

About the Wine Bottle Vessel?

• Using a 4-step cold-working process to repurpose the bottles into usable, upcycled containers for our candles.
• They use a wet saw to hand-cut the glass, then use the flat lapidary wheel to: grind away any imperfections or chipping, pre-polish the now smooth edge, and polish to add shine back onto the glass.
