Woman’s Day created this Encyclopedia of Cookery, a comprehensive and colorful library on all culinary matters. The twelve-volume encyclopedia contains in its 2,000 pages over 8,500 recipes from all over the world; 1,500 food illustrations in color; 1,200 menus; 50 special cook books and over 1,000 food definitions.
In addition, there are full details about all foods, their nutritive and caloric values, how to buy, serve, prepare, and cook them. There is a history of food and cooking, articles on nutrition, diet, entertaining, menu planning, herbs and spices. Every topic of culinary interest is covered. Five years of intensive work went into its preparation, back by twenty-five years of food and cookery experience in the publication of Woman’s Day.
This would be a great addition to a United States, travel or your home state theme for your junk journal and scrapbooks.
