My Top 5 Favorite Eco-friendly Companies

5 of My Favorite Eco-friendly Companies

Eco-friendly companies are becoming more mainstream as people are working to do their part to help the planet by creating less waste. Since we have so many more options nowadays, I wanted to share five of my favorite eco-friendly companies that I use almost every day! And you can purchase them all from the comfort of your own home.

  1. Plaine Products – Shampoo, conditioner and the like are almost always packaged in single-use plastics. Instead, Plaine Products uses metal bottles that you can return to them for free (they supply a return postage label and reusable box to make it easy). They then clean, refill and resell the bottles which is reducing the amount of waste in landfills. Anything that we can do to reduce waste is a good thing! Their vegan products are toxin free, cruelty-free, as well as kid safe, color safe and the formula is biodegradable. Subscribing to them also gives you a 10% discount, and the delivery dates can be altered whenever you need to so that you never run out.Plaine Products - One of my favorite eco-friendly brands

  1. Dropps This is the only laundry detergent that I buy! You can purchase it in a variety of scents or no scent at all! I love that it comes in a small cardboard box, which can be recycled, and no extra packaging waste, as opposed to buying those big plastic jugs at the grocery store. Their subscription service allows you to change the frequency at any time so in the Florida winter when we have a lot of house guests, we purchase more often. Definitely worth it to reduce plastic waste as we strive to become a zero waste household and business. Dropps - One of my favorite eco-friendly brands

  1. Plymouth Cards – Of course!! Our company makes eco-friendly and sustainable photo insert note cards and other stationery products. We have been in business for 15 years (woohoo!) and reducing our carbon footprint every year. I use our cards with photographs for every occasion: birthdays, thank yous, sympathy, congratulations, holidays and more. All of our paper products (cards, gift tags, packaging, tissue paper, catalogs, etc.) are made using post-consumer recycled paper. Our twine, is made from cotton and hemp, natural and biodegradable materials. Even our card wrap, has gift tags on the inside for you to reuse with the twine therefore creating almost zero waste. We even reuse shipping boxes and collect unused newspapers from a local newspaper company to pack customer orders with. Use code PCCARES to save 15% on your next order. One-time, cannot be combined with other offers.Plymouth Cards - Top 5 favorite eco-friendly brands with zero waste

  1. Who Gives A Crap This hilariously named online toilet paper company works hard to make all of their products environmentally friendly. They have two options when it comes to toilet paper: one made from recycled paper and the other from bamboo. They even have recycled paper towels and facial tissues. Everything comes wrapped in fun recycled paper to keep them hygienic and moisture-free. Plus, they do not use inks, dyes or scents! I really like that 50% of the proceeds goes to help build toilets in many other parts of the world that do not have access to the sewage system that we take for granted. Their subscription service is super convenient with the ability to change the delivery with a simple click, and it also clears your mind of toilet paper anxiety! They even email you when it is close to your shipment day to give you the opportunity to change it.Who Gives a Crap - One of my favorite eco-friendly brands

  1. Contigo – We have tried a variety of reusable bottles, and none of them seemed to meet our needs: keep the water cold, be spill proof and not “sweat”. In what seemed like my never-ending quest to find the perfect bottle, I purchased a Contigo Autoseal Chill and boy was it life-changing. Our entire Plymouth Cards family lives by this product! It feels good to drink out of, does not leave a metallic taste in my mouth, keeps the water cold and doesn’t sweat!! Now no more single-use plastic bottles for us. Plus, they will stand by their product! I accidentally broke the lid on my bottle one day. I called Contigo to purchase a replacement top (duct tape can only last so long) explaining it was my fault, and instead they sent me a whole new bottle at no charge! Contigo Autoseal - One of my favorite eco-friendly brands
